my dad actually says my flute playing is nice. -.- ok, im happy, that someone said its nice, but i shldnt be, cos wad my dad says may not be accurate, cos oldies are the only thing that he know about music. LOL. so, im not satisfied. and, im gna work harder, harder, and harder. and he asked if i wanted to have a flute teacher. I WANT! but not now, after i get my dip for piano, which is 2 or 3 years away, i'll get a flute teacher. :D

oh. go here and take the 3 tests. for me, tonedeaf test = 86.1%, adaptive pitch = 1.95hz and rhythm = 68.0%. okay, if my results are worst than yours (or if yours are better than mine), and you laugh, whatever. HAH. but dont come to me and start showing off. i'll slap you i tell you.

ohya, i came across the guy piano-ex on the forum. hes a pianist, as you can see from the username, and i think hes super pro. in one of his posts, he said
"at the topic of saturation of piano teacher, i'm very concerned about this.
There are so many bad piano teacher compared to the good ones. Maybe it sounds
exaggarating but it could be 70-80% bad teacher to 20-30% good teacher ..."

he major in classical piano la. andand, i read the stuffs that he said, and i think its reasonable. LOL.
"Apparently now , music schools are doing more quality control and becoming
more meritocratic. Gone are the days where any tom dick and harry grade 8 cert
holder can land themselves a teaching job in music schools. My piano teacher
told me that now music schools are imposing policies when hiring music teachers.
You get a pass for grade 8 , 45% of your hourly pay goes back to the school ,
you get a merit for grade 8 , 25% of your hourly pay goes back to the school and
if you get a distinction for grade 8 , you get 100% of your hourly pay. It's
something like that lah.... "

maybe im not stopping at dip? it seems as if many are getting their dips, so mine wont worth much too. and somemore mine is LCM cert, not ABRSM one. well, i'll work hard la. poly life is not as stressful, so i guess i'll have more time for music. :D I SOUND AS IF IM AIMING TO BECOME A PIANO TEACHER. LOL! maybe i'll be one, maybe i wont. cos i dont want to be a sucky teacher, and cause my students to do badly in music. so nice of me, eh? HAHA.
